History

The business started as Queensland Book Depot in the late 1890s as a means for the Uniting Church to sell religious texts.[2] However over the years the consumer market changed and the business was sold to the Robinson family in 1991.[citation needed] The Robinson family sold the business in October 2016 to a consortium of private equity investors.[2][3]
