It was also one of the 8 state legislative assembly constituencies included in the Karimganj Lok Sabha constituency.[1] This constituency was reserved for the Scheduled caste candidates.[2]
It is requested that the page history of Ram Krishna Nagar Assembly constituency be merged into the history of this page because This page was moved to "Ram Krishna Nagar Assembly constituency" as per the [source], but both constituencies have different boundaries, so I restored this page using "copy-paste". This action can only be performed by an administrator or an importer (compare pages). The requester left this additional comment:
Consider placing {{subst:Uw-c&pmove|Ram Krishna Nagar Assembly constituency|to=Ratabari Assembly constituency}} ~~~~ on the talk page of the editor who performed the cut-and-paste move.Administrators: Before merging the page histories, read the instructions at Wikipedia:History merging carefully. An incorrect history merge is very difficult to undo. |
This constituency was abolished in 2023.[3]
