Rayhan Raza Khan[a] (January 1934 – June 1985) was an Indian Islamic scholar. The eldest son of Ibrahim Raza Khan and a grandson of Ahmad Raza Khan, Rayhan Raza Khan was affiliated with the Barelvi movement.

Family background
Rayhan Raza Khan was born in January 1934 to Ibrahim Raza Khan. His grandfather Ahmad Raza Khan was one of the founders of the Barelvi movement. Rayhan had four well-known brothers, Akhtar Raza Khan, Mannan Raza Khan, Tanwir Raza Khan and Qamar Raza Khan.[1]
Rayhan Raza Khan had two well-known sons, Subhan Raza Khan and Tawqir Raza Khan, the founder and president of Ittehad-e-Millat Council.[2]

Education and life
Rayhan gained his initial religious education from his mother's household.[2] He then attended the Manzar-i Islam seminary in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh.[2] With the permission of his father Ibrahim, Rayhan travelled to Pakistan to study under Sardar Ahmad Chishti, the student of Hamid Raza Khan.[2] After returning to India, Rayhan formally graduated from Manzar-i Islam in March 1955.[2]
Rayhan had khilafat from his father, as well as Ziauddin Madani.[2] Rayhan succeeded his father as administrator of Manzar-i Islam in 1965.[3] He travelled throughout India and abroad to preach the Barelvi message by tabligh.[3] Rayhan taught students at the Manzar-i Islam in both Arabic and Urdu.[3] He was also the trustee of Khanqah Razviya for a period of time.[3]

Death and shrine
Rayhan Raza Khan died in June 1985 (Ramadan 1405 AH). His shrine lies within other of his family members at the Bareilly Dargah.[2]
