Plot

It is a modern-day retelling of the Biblical Book of Ruth, starring Serayah as Ruth, a former Atlanta hip-hop artist who flees her troubled past to a small town in Tennessee.^[2] While caring for her late boyfriend's grieving mother, Naomi (Phylicia Rashad), Ruth (Serayah) finds unexpected redemption and a new love with vineyard owner Boaz (Tyler Lepley).
