Sérignan-du-Comtat (French pronunciation: [seʁiɲɑ̃ dy kɔ̃ta]; Occitan: Serinhan dau Comtat) is a commune in the Vaucluse department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in Southeastern France.[3] Until 1944, it was known simply as Sérignan. In 2020, it had a population of 2,856.
On 1 January 2017, together with a number of neighbouring communes, it was transferred from the arrondissement of Avignon to the arrondissement of Carpentras.[4]
The entomologist Jean-Henri Fabre (1823–1915) died in Sérignan-du-Comtat.
