Saint-Chéron (French pronunciation: [sɛ̃ ʃeʁɔ̃] ⓘ) is a commune in the Essonne department in Île-de-France in northern France.
The village is named after Saint Caraunus, a missionary who was murdered by robbers in the vicinity.[3]
