Sarang Khan Gakhar (Punjabi: سارنگ خان گکھڑ, romanized: Sārang Khān Gakhar) (d. 1546) was a Punjabi Muslim general and chief of the Gakhars, who was made ruler of Pothohar Plateau in 1520 by the Mughal emperor Babur for his submission to the Mughal authority in northern Punjab region of modern day Pakistan. He was captured and killed by Sher Shah Suri in 1546.[1]
