Sheikh Sayyid ˈAbdur-Rahmān al-Bukhāri[pronunciation?](1920 – 1 February 2014),[2][3] commonly known as Ullal Thangal[1] and honoured with the title Tājul Ulamā[3] lit. 'Crown Among the Clerics',[4] was an Indian Islamic scholar.[4] He was the President of Samastha,[1] Jamia Sa-adiya Arabic College,[5] Principal of the Sayyid Madani Arabic College, Ullal,[6] and the Qazi of Ullal and several districts of Karnataka state.[6]

He was a prominent member of the Samastha until the split of the Sunnis in 1989 and AP Sunnis' Samastha thereafter.[4][1]
His grave is in Ettikulam, Kannur district of Kerala.[7][8][9]
