Plot summary
The plot summary is tagged as too long but it doesn't look excessively long to me. -- Beardo (talk) 16:55, 27 February 2011 (UTC)
The section about Burts parents moving away may need some more clarification. I haven't seen the movie and without more context describing his parents decision to move away as "selfish and ill-concieved" sounds a lot like "How dare you live your own lives when we're having a baby we expect you to raise!". I understand it's reasonable to assume that the grandparents will be involved in a kids life but honestly unless there was more to it the main characters are the ones who seem selfish and I doubt that was the intention. (Some explaination of what on earth a "continuum home" is and why it makes something as common place as a stroller a bad idea would also be useful.) Danikat (talk) 16:01, 11 March 2011 (UTC)
- The couple was living in a miserable house, simply to be close to Burt's parents, their only surviving family. Their out of the blue decision to leave the country leaves the couple at loose ends and makes them realize they'd been living in a place they hate for no reason.
