Current and past policies and views

Summarize
Perspective

I've hidden the "Current and past policies and views" section as it was highly vague and ambiguous as to which policies in the given section were past and which were current. I tagged the vagueness of this section with a template a year ago but it is yet to be resolved. I may look into fixing it myself at some point but it would be handy to make a collaborative effort on it as it is a long list of policies with sources ranging from multiple years. Honestly, I would prefer it if we'd focused our sections on what third-party sources have found relevant. It's not really our job to rehost party manifestos, but it seems there is relatively little comment. I've found two from after the NSW council elections though:
McLeod, Catie (13 September 2024). "Conspiracists and people linked to anti-lockdown campaigner among 120 'fringe' candidates in NSW council elections". The Guardian. and
Dowling, James (16 September 2024). "Libertarians emerge from the fringe in NSW council upset". The Australian.
Not sure what people think of them and if they're aware of any others. Also not sure if the "Inital electoral contests" should be rejiggered a bit, given the time period overlaps with "Recent developments" and it's a little WP:PROSELINE. Maybe move it down to the electoral results section? Alpha3031 (tc) 10:55, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
