Looking at Category:American urban legends, none of the other urban legends/myths are titled "Myth of the <thing>". Is there a better title for this article? (Hohum @) 15:01, 18 May 2025 (UTC)

Literally anything would be a better title, because there's no establishment that it's a "myth". SWATJester Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat! 16:48, 18 May 2025 (UTC)
"Spitting on Vietnam veterans" ? (Hohum @) 17:12, 18 May 2025 (UTC)
That's definitely a more NPOV title, because it'd allow coverage of both sides of the claim. I still wonder if spitting is one level of granularity too specific, and we should maybe look at something more like "hostility to returning Vietnam veterans" or something like that? I've suggested in the past "Vietnam Veteran Spitting Controversy". I think that is much more NPOV. (This is something else I am planning on addressing in the POV section I am working on.) Calling it a "myth" (in the title) when accounts appear in RS is a issue. Rja13ww33 (talk) 03:29, 19 May 2025 (UTC)
"Vietnam Veteran Spitting Controversy" Are you suggesting that we should add this article to Category:1960s controversies in the United States? Dimadick (talk) 05:23, 20 May 2025 (UTC)
