Lowest totals table

Summarize
Perspective

There are a couple of instances in the lowest totals table where the innings ended because the side chasing won the match, so that both innings from the same match are shown - surely these shouldn't be counted as a "low total"? I'd say that lowest totals should only be included where a team was dimissed or used up their allotted overs. Any thoughts? Bcp67 (talk) 14:42, 17 August 2023 (UTC)

That's a good point. I'll remove the successful run cases. MsJoat (talk) 09:50, 18 August 2023 (UTC)
Perhaps add a note about the other ones or to explain the omissions? Blue Square Thing (talk) 09:52, 18 August 2023 (UTC)
Done. And a short para at the start eliminates excessive efns. MsJoat (talk) 10:11, 18 August 2023 (UTC)
Thank you. --Bcp67 (talk) 10:12, 18 August 2023 (UTC)

Is the Team the one who scored the low total or the winner of the match? In the Women's 2021 final Oval won, with Southern scoring 73, I see in the table Oval is the Team and Southern the opponent. Yet in 2023 Oval scored the 80 and is the Team column. Ânes-pur-sàng (talk) 14:41, 27 August 2023 (UTC)

It's the team that made the score. Pretty sure that's a mistake and one I made - I probably input it wrong. Thank you for picking up on it and pointing it out. MsJoat (talk) 09:32, 28 August 2023 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: no consensus. (non-admin closure) Cactus🌵 spiky ouch 08:51, 18 July 2025 (UTC)

The Hundred (cricket)The HundredThe HundredThis page can be moved to just The Hundred, because that is the name everyone uses. The cricket tournament is called simply The Hundred by media, fans, and even the official site. There is no need for (cricket) because no other page with this name exists or is popular. So this can be the main title. ইমরান ভূইয়া (talk) sock strike 06:32, 19 June 2025 (UTC)  Relisting. TarnishedPathtalk 12:05, 29 June 2025 (UTC)  Relisting. TarnishedPathtalk 12:00, 7 July 2025 (UTC)

  • Oppose it isn't the only article on Wikipedia that uses the name "The Hundred", so the whole premise of this request is not based on Wikipedia naming guidelines. My view hasn't changed since the 2021 RM. No attempt has been made here to argue that it's the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, "people simply call it The Hundred" is not an argument for this move. Joseph2302 (talk) 07:33, 19 June 2025 (UTC)
Why?? The Hundreds was last edited one year ago, The One Hundred was last edited five months ago, and no one searches for the 100, The 100, or The 100 by word form. Clearly, the main topic here.ইমরান ভূইয়া (talk) sock strike
  • Support. As a WP:SMALLDETAILS matter, the only other entry on the DAB page that matters is The Hundred with Andy Lee. This gets 12:1 pageviews over that, and is the #3 clickthrough destination among both spelled-out and numeral-based entries on WikiNav, while the Andy Lee show doesn't rank. Even throwing in The One Hundred (band) (which, again per SMALLDETAILS, should probably just be The One HundredThe One Hundred), that has a sixth the views of the Andy Lee show, so still about 12:1 for this. The !voters in the previous RM were right to say to wait, but we've waited, and now have our answer. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (they|xe|🤷) 13:32, 19 June 2025 (UTC)
  • Support per Tamzin. Mdewman6 (talk) 22:06, 19 June 2025 (UTC)
  • Note nominator has been blocked as a sock, although as others have supported move, seems sensible to continue this RM regardless. Joseph2302 (talk) 08:58, 24 June 2025 (UTC)
  • Support  I mostly agree with Tamzin, but The 100 (TV series) is pronounced and occasionally written out as "The Hundred". That means it should be considered alongside this article and the Andy Lee show, but only in proportion to how frequently it's written out that way. It's a closer call, but I think the cricket tournament is still the primary topic. jlwoodwa (talk) 18:48, 25 June 2025 (UTC)
  • Oppose per previous RM and The 100, which can all be spoken in the same way. Clarity matters and disambiguation is intended to make things clear. -- Necrothesp (talk) 11:24, 26 June 2025 (UTC)

Relisting comment: While this RM was started by a sock, there appears to be some support for the proposal and so I am relisting it to get more input. TarnishedPathtalk 12:05, 29 June 2025 (UTC)
Oppose (Was initially going to be Lean Oppose) Per The 100 which can be spoken in the same way and the Cricket tournament is mentioned at the DAB page. Servite et contribuere (talk) 04:41, 30 June 2025 (UTC)
  • Oppose It's hard to differentiate from The 100, so both versions should be counted as essentially the "same name". ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ () 13:47, 14 July 2025 (UTC)
