Clean Oceans International (COI), originally The Clean Oceans Project, is an ocean-oriented environmental organization that seeks to reduce plastic pollution in the oceans.[8][9][10]
COI was founded in 2009 as a public benefit corporation, and is based in Santa Cruz, California on the Santa Cruz Harbor, gateway to the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary.[11]
