Principal photography on all three films commenced over 52 days in September 2022 in Bratislava, Slovakia,^[5] and wrapped in November 2022.^[6][7]

According to Harlin, Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 went in a different direction than the first film, while covering Petsch's character over a span of four days after her encounter.^[7]

Release

The Strangers – Chapter 2 is scheduled to be released in the United States on September 26, 2025, taking over the release of the now-cancelled Saw XI.^[4] It was originally scheduled to release in an unspecified date in late 2024.^[8]
