Trinamool Student Congress

Trinamool Chhatra Parishad (abbreviated TMCP, WBTMCP or West Bengal Trinamool Chhatra Parishad) popularly known as or "TMCP" is the student wing of All India Trinamool Congress. It was formed in 1998 after the formation of Trinamool Congress, splitting from Congress.^{[1][failed verification]}

A mural by the Democratic Youth Federation Of India made as an insult to the All India Trinmool Congress. It gives a Bengali backronym of the TMC as "তোরা মরে গেলেও চাকরী পাবিনা।", translated as "Even if you die, you won't get a job."

TMCP is one of the major Marxist student organizations^{[citation needed]} in West Bengal and has won student union election in many colleges of West Bengal.
