Tupiniquim (Tupinaki) is a language which was spoken by Tupiniquim people in the Brazilian states of Espírito Santo and Bahia, and belonged to the Tupi–Guarani language family. It is now extinct. Its former speakers have switched to Portuguese. It went extinct in the 1960s, but has been taught since 2004 as a second language.[1] Only three words of Tupiniquim are known.[2]
