Waiting for Gyeong-do (Korean: 경도를 기다리며) is an upcoming South Korean romantic comedy television series directed by Lim Hyun-wook , written by Yoo Young-ah , and starring Park Seo-joon and Won Ji-an. It is scheduled to premiere on JTBC on December 2025. and will air every Saturday and Sunday at 22:30 (KST). It will also be available to stream on Prime Video in select territories around the world.[2]

Production
Development
Waiting for Gyeong-do is directed by Im Hyun-wook, who worked on Reflection of You (2021), and King the Land (2023), and written by Yoo Yeon-ga, who wrote Encounter (2018), Thirty-Nine (2022), and Divorce Attorney Shin (2023). It is co-produced by SLL, Story Forest, and Studios IN.[4]
Casting
Park Seo-joon was reportedly been offered as the male lead on July 8, 2024.[5]
On January 3, 2025, Won Ji-an is reportedly cast as the female lead.[6] The next day, Park was reportedly confirmed to appear.[7]
On September 9, 2025, the first special youth shots featuring Park Se-joon and Won Ji-an were released.[8]
Release
On May 27, 2025, JTBC revealed the drama lineup for the second half. It is scheduled to premiere on JTBC on December 2025, and will air every Saturday and Sunday at 22:30 (KST).[4][9]
