Should the following official IAF claims[1][2][3][4] (and counter comments for NPOV) on the shoot down and destruction of PAF aircraft be re-added[5] into the article based on the extensive discussions in 2 sections[6][7] of the talk page? On August 9, the Indian Chief of the Air Staff Amar Preet Singh claimed that India had shot down five Pakistani fighter jets and "one large aircraft" during the conflict, citing electronic tracking data as confirmation. He stated that the large aircraft, either an ELINT or AEW&C, "was taken out from a distance of about 300 km", which he claimed was the "largest-ever recorded surface-to-air kill". Singh also claimed that a Pakistani AEW&C plane and some F-16 fighters were hit in their hangars during strikes at the Bholari and Shahbaz airbases respectively. Pakistani defence minister Khwaja Asif reiterated the PAF claims on the IAF losses, and totally rejected the statements of the IAF chief as "implausible, ill-timed". He added that he finds it "ironic how senior Indian military officers are being used as the faces of monumental failure caused by the strategic shortsightedness of Indian politicians". Cdr. Talk:Elizabeth II

We have existing consensus to change the lead image; however, the previous discussion on what the new image should be was scuppered by copyright concerns.

Thumb

Should File:Queen Elizabeth II March 2015.jpg (right) be used as the lead image, or something else? If you have an alternate suggestion of a good-quality image without copyright concerns, please add it to the bulleted list below.

Talk:The Birth of a Nation

I am opening an RFC regarding which version of the lede should be used for this article. The question is whether the film's overt racism should be foregrounded before its technical innovations, and whether editorial [dubious discuss] tags belong in the lede. Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Weather

This RFC is a pseudo-continuation of a discussion at the Central Texas floods article. Points were brought up about the inclusion of sections relating to climate change in severe weather articles in general. However, the RFC did not find consensus for that. As a result, I am opening this RFC. Articles affected include those on specific hurricanes, flood events, tornadoes, et cetera. ✶Quxyz 22:00, 7 August 2025 (UTC)

Talk:Gaza genocide

Should the WP:first sentence of the article have the title in bold as the sentence subject, such as The Gaza genocide is... or should it have an 'X says Y' format, such as According to a United Nations Special Committee, Amnesty International, Médecins Sans Frontières, B'Tselem, and other experts, Israel is committing genocide in Gaza against the Palestinians...? إيان (talk) 21:41, 30 July 2025 (UTC)

Should disputed material by David Stoll, Sabino, et al regarding Rios Montt s involvement and responsibility for the Guatemalan genocide, which view it as a allegation or claim by opponents, be removed or retained in the article? Discussions for context:

In connection to the above discussion, should the information box in the Poland article start with "Baptism of Poland 14 April 966" or "Duchy of Poland c. 960"? PJK 1993 (talk) 09:25, 28 July 2025 (UTC)
