History

Founded in 2001, Yealink quickly became the largest provider of SIP phones in the People's Republic of China.^[1] Between 2009 and 2011, the company achieved the largest growth in the endpoint market.^[3] In 2013, a research and development centre was opened in Hangzhou.^[1] The portfolio was expanded with the first video conferencing system in 2015 and the company was able to quickly establish itself on the market.^[4][5] This was followed by the IPO on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2017.^[1][2] Yealink became the leader in SIP desk phones in 2018.^[6][7][8]
