Sceptrin

Sceptrin is a bioactive marine isolate.^[1] It has been isolated from the marine sponge Agelas conifera and appears to have affinity for the bacterial actin equivalent MreB.^[2] As such, this compound possess antibiotic potential.^{[citation needed]}
