Etymology
Reduced form of ennea-, from Ancient Greek ἐννέα (ennéa, “nine”).
Prefix
enn-
- (chemistry) Used for the digit nine to form systematic element names of elements whose existence has been predicted, and which have not yet been given a trivial name.
- un- (“1”) + un- (“1”) + enn- (“9”) + -ium (element suffix) → ununennium (“element 119”)
