Suffix

-sqa

1. Past perfect participle.

   sayk'uy (“to tire”) → sayk'usqa (“tired, weary, fatigued”)

   yanuy (“to cook”) → yanusqa (“cooked”)

2. Reported past. Past tense of reported facts. Compare to -rqa.

   Qamllaqa tukuy tutas tusukusqanki Maryapa punchawninpi.

   (They say) you danced all night long at Marya’s birthday party.
