Doogie mouse (plural Doogie mice)

  1. A mouse whose synapses have been enhanced by long-term potentiation, used in scientific experiments.
    • 2013, Mark Shepherd, Mastering the National Admissions Test for Law, page 128:
      When the mice returned, the Doogie mice remembered the old object, and devoted their time to exploring the new one. The normal mice, however, spent an equal amount of time exploring both objects.
