Lindlar catalyst (plural Lindlar catalysts)
- (chemistry) A heterogeneous catalyst consisting of palladium deposited on calcium carbonate which is then poisoned with various forms of lead or sulphur. It is used for the hydrogenation of alkynes to alkenes.
