  1. (computing) Initialism of video random access memory (random access memory used by graphics processing units).
  2. (programming) video memory (an area of a computer's memory used to hold data used by a graphics processing unit)
  3. (computing) Initialism of Video RAM, a variant of DRAM invented in 1980 and used to store the framebuffer in some graphics adapters.
