Zeppelin stamp (plural Zeppelin stamps)

  1. (philately, historical) A postage stamp intended to pay the postage for mail carried on Zeppelin flights, either specially designed or overprinted, issued by certain countries during the late 1920s and early 1930s when Zeppelins flew passengers and mail between Germany and other countries.
    Synonym: (informal) Zepp
