chloramide (countable and uncountable, plural chloramides)

  1. (inorganic chemistry, uncountable) The compound NHCl2; part of the chloramine class.
  2. (organic chemistry, countable) Any amide in which one or more of the hydrogen atoms attached to the nitrogen atom is replaced with chlorine
