cross-border ticket (plural cross-border tickets)
- (travel, dated) A multi-sector airline ticket, issued for travel from a place that the passenger does not intend to fly from, in order to get a lower fare.
Usage notes
Since the advent of e-tickets, and the almost universal use of modern reservation systems, the practice is now rare.
