From Gothic *𐌿𐍃𐍃𐌺𐌰𐍂𐌾𐌹𐌸𐍃 (*usskarjiþs), the (unattested) past participle of the (attested) verb 𐌿𐍃𐍃𐌺𐌰𐍂𐌾𐌰𐌽 (usskarjan, “to tear out”).
