1. to be sweet

   ايمّيم وايدا ن الدّونيت، ميش يوالات يد وليلي، نغ يرا الرّوح ا يفّوغ، آوين ك س لقبرِ.

   immim wayda n ddunit, miš iwala t id-i ulili, nġ ira rruḥ a iffuġ, awin k s lqbr-i.

   The possessions of this world are sweet, but they leave behind a taste of oleander; for the soul must leave this lower world, and then you are carried to your grave.

2. to be delicious, to be pleasant

   تمّيم لحلوَة اد. ― tmmim lḥlwa yad. ― this cake is delicious.
