mult box (plural mult boxes)
- (broadcasting) An electrical device with many outlets, allowing different crews to record the same audio at an event.

- Henry had found an audio-visual outfit in town that was able to set up a microphone at the lead table connected to several mult-boxes in the back of the room. Still, many of the camera crews bypassed these boxes and strung their own mics to the table, strapping them to the main microphone.
