perfect rhyme (countable and uncountable, plural perfect rhymes)
- (uncountable) A form of rhyme in which the vowels and final (coda) consonants of stressed syllables (and, in modern English poetry, any following syllables to the end of the words) are identical in sound.
- Synonyms: full rhyme, exact rhyme, true rhyme
- Antonyms: imperfect rhyme; half rhyme, quasi-rhyme, near rhyme, internal rhyme
- Hypernyms: rhyme; concord
- (countable) An instance of this form of rhyme.
