Particularly: “Not mentioned at all by Ratliff. Bears resemblance to Old Chinese (OC *ɡoː, “throat”) and other words in the area like Vietnamese cổ (neck) - perhaps an areal word, and/or a sound-symbolic formation (using guttural velars and uvulars to represent the throat).”
