rangeability (countable and uncountable, plural rangeabilities)
- A measure of the range of signal values over which a particular mechanical device is reliable.

- When less scrupulous firms try to pull the wool over the eyes of a consumer, they usually resort to describing the transducer in terms of rangeability. The rangeability is meant to be an indication of some range of signal values over which the device is useful.
