rebatch (third-person singular simple present rebatches, present participle rebatching, simple past and past participle rebatched)

  1. (transitive) To arrange into different batches.
  2. (transitive) To process (an unsatisfactory batch of soap etc.) again, in order to add new ingredients.
    • 1981, John Cutler, Understanding aircraft structures, page 149:
      The inspector again rebatches the material into his company's own system and notes the details (i.e. material specification, dimensions, supplier, date received, etc.) into his batch book.
