retag (third-person singular simple present retags, present participle retagging, simple past and past participle retagged)

  1. (transitive) To tag again or anew.
    • 2007, William D. Gordon, Modern Accounting Systems, page 265:
      Merchandise marked down must be retagged in the same manner, and the comptroller must be notified of the total amount of the markdown.
