rockpicking (uncountable)

  1. (agriculture) Reducing the stoniness of farm fields by picking out the rocks. A task performed periodically, not a vocation.
  2. (mining, ore dressing) Cleaning out the rocks during ore dressing. Done by a person, machine, or machine component.
