second quest (usually uncountable, plural second quests)

  1. (video games) An enhanced, more difficult, or remixed quest or mission following the completion of the first playthrough.
    • 1998, L.F.P. Incorporated (publisher), Rap Pages, volume 7, numbers 1-6, page 39:
      Resident Evil 2 is a double disc set. Contained within each disc are the first and second quests for each character - two quests per characters; you won't see the real ending until you beat it each way.
