Noun

speeder (plural speeders)

  1. One who speeds: one who exceeds the maximum legal speed limit.
  2. (dated) A machine for drawing and twisting slivers to form rovings, in spinning.
  3. (rail transport) A motorized railroad track crew cart.

  4. (industrial relations) A fast worker selected by a company to exemplify the rate of work generally expected; a pacesetter.
