The standard of identity is from the Code of Federal Regulations, title 27, section 4.21(a)(2).

Noun

table wine (countable and uncountable, plural table wines)

1. (US) Wine that is not fortified or sparkling.
2. A low-quality wine, suitable for drinking at mealtimes.
3. (US standards of identity) A grape wine containing at most fourteen percent alcohol by volume.
