Elections scheduled to be held in France on 11 or 18 April 2027

Presidential elections are scheduled to be held in France in or around April 2027, with a second round two weeks later if no candidate secures a majority vote. The elections may be held earlier under exceptional circumstances if the presidency falls vacant before then. The incumbent president, Emmanuel Macron, is term-limited and cannot seek a third consecutive term in office. However, he has hinted the possiblity of running in the 2032 elections, which would make him eligible.
