Ancient town of LyciaCarmylessus or Karmylessos was a town of ancient Lycia, described by Strabo between Telmissus and the mouth of the Xanthus. After Telmissus, he says, then Anticragus, an abrupt mountain on which is the small place Carmylessus, lying in a ravine.
