Chalino Sánchez
Mexican singer (1960–1992)Rosalino "Chalino" Sánchez Félix was a Mexican singer and composer. Posthumously called "The King of Corrido", Sánchez is considered one of the most influential Mexican narcocorrido singers of the late 20th century. His songs mostly contained stories of murder and organized crime in nineteenth and twentieth century Northern Mexico, including topics such as the Mexican Revolution, drug cartels, drug trafficking, murders, serial killers, Mexican standoffs, gambling, and murder-suicides. He also composed and sang romantic and radio-friendly songs.
