Internacia organizaĵo, en la internacijura senco, estas unuiĝo de du aŭ pli ŝtatoj (aŭ aliaj internacijuraj subjektoj) por daŭra, kutime transnacia, kunlaboro kaj plenumas superŝtatajn celojn. La internaciaj organizaĵoj estas subjektoj de la publika internacia juro kaj membroj de la internacia socio, same kiel la ŝtatoj.
Internacian organizaĵon karakterizas tio, ke nur ŝtatoj povas konsistigi ĝin. Simplaj individuoj, grupoj, asocioj k.s. ne povas esti membro de internacia organizaĵo.
Ankaŭ ekzistas internaciaj neregistaraj organizaĵoj (NRO), kies anoj ne estas ŝtatoj, kaj kiuj arigas membrojn ĉirkaŭ iu temo (homrajtoj, ekologio, internacia lingvo, malsato, ktp.)
La nuntempa internacia socio enkalkulas multajn internaciajn organizaĵojn – ĉirkaŭ 250. Kelkaj konataj ekzemploj estas la Unuiĝintaj Nacioj (UN) kaj la Eŭropa Unio (EU). Internaciaj organizaĵoj estas tre diversaj laŭ:
