Endrik Nõges (5. aprill 1927 Mõisaküla – 6. juuni 2006 Seattle, USA) oli eesti päritolu USA tehnikateadlane.[1]
Endrik Nõges põgenes Nõukogude okupatsiooni eest 1944. aastal Saksamaale. Ta lõpetas 1946. aastal Geislingeni Eesti Gümnaasiumi, õppis aastatel 1946–1948 Karlsruhe Kõrgemas Tehnikakoolis, kust sai stipendiumi õpinguteks USA-s. Õppis aastatel 1949–1951 Denisoni Ülikoolis (Granville, Ohio), lõpetas 1954. aastal Northwesterni Ülikooli (Evanston, Illinois) elektrotehnika alal, tehnikamagister (1956, Northwesterni Ülikool), tehnikadoktor (1959, samas).[1]
Nõges oli aastatel 1954–1957 Northwesterni Ülikooli assistent, 1958–1969 Washingtoni Ülikooli (Seattle, Washington) abiprofessor ja dotsent, aastast 1969 professor, ühtlasi 1965–1971 tehnikateaduskonna abidirektor, täitis aastatel 1966–1971 dekaani abi, 1986–1988 ja 1990–1992 prodekaani, 1988–1990 dekaani kohuseid. Oli 1982–1985 telekursuste programmi asutaja ja direktor. Töötas samuti külalisõppejõuna Helsingi Tehnikaülikoolis (1963–1964), Karlsruhe Kõrgemas Tehnikakoolis (1972–1973) ja TTÜ-s (1993). Emeriteerus 1992.[1]
Endrik Nõgese uurimistöö oli peamiselt seotud mittelineaarsete juhtimissüsteemide analüüsi ja sünteesi ning rakendustega lennukitööstuses, sh ülemaailmse asukoha määramise süsteemiga GPS, intertsiaalnavigatsiooni ja kujutuvastuse algoritmidega. Töid sagedusmoduleeritud juhtimissüsteemidest ja mittelineaarsetest diskriminantsetest funktsioonidest. Olnud mitme Ameerika Riikliku Teadusfondi rahastatava uurimisprojekti põhitäitja; juhendanud üle 40 doktorandi ja magistrandi, nõustanud konsultandina firmasid Boeing Company, Bell Telephone Laboratories jt. Aastast 1972 teinud koostööd TTÜ-ga, pidanud siin loenguid ning juhendanud magistrante ja doktorante. Ameerika Elektriinseneride Instituudi, Ameerika Elektri- ja Elektroonikainseneride Instituudi, Ameerika Tehnikahariduse Seltsi, Sigma Xi ja Association for the Advancement of Baltic Studiese liige, aastast 1995 Eesti TA välisliige automaatjuhtimise alal.[1]
