Status Quo

Status Quo on inglise rokkbänd. Bändi, mis algselt kandis nime The Scorpions, asutasid koolipoisid Francis Rossi ja Alan Lancaster 1962. aastal. Pärast mitut koosseisuvahetust sai 1967. aastal bändi nimeks Status Quo.

Suurbritannia edetabelitesse on bändilt jõudnud 60 laulu, mida on enam kui ühelgi teisel ansamblil. 22 laulu on jõudnud Briti singliedetabelis esikümnesse. Nende tuntuimad laulud on "Pictures of Matchstick Men" (1968), "Whatever You Want" (1979) ja "In the Army Now" (1986 ja 2010).

1985. aastal avas bänd Wembley staadionil heategevuskontserdi Live Aid lauluga "Rockin' All Over the World".

1994. aastal esines ansambel ka Tallinnas Rock Summeril.
