Yksityiselämä
Ray syntyi Massachusettsissa Elsa Scuderin ja James Rayn tyttäreksi ja kasvoi New Yorkissa. Hänen perheellään oli oma ravintola Massachusettsissa.
24. syyskuuta 2005 Ray meni naimisiin John Cusimanon kanssa Toscanassa, Italiassa.
