Shalamar oli yhdysvaltalainen 70- ja 80-luvulla toiminut pop-yhtye. Yhtyeen kasasi tuottaja Dick Griffey vuonna 1978 sessiomuusikot korvanneiden laulajien Jody Watleyn, Jeffrey Danielin ja Howard Hewettin ympärille.
Yhtyeen ensimmäinen hitti tällä kokoonpanolla oli vuoden 1979 'Second Time Around', joka nousi Yhdysvaltain pop-listan kahdeksanneksi ja R&B-listan ykköseksi Leon Silvers III:n tuottamana. Yhtyeen isoin listamenestys Isossa-Britanniassa oli vuoden 1982 singlejulkaisu 'A Night to Remember', joka nousi listalla viidenneksi. Yhtyeen menestys alkoi hiipua vuonna 1983 Watleyn ja Danielin jätettyä yhtyeen.
