Tšavusyn kaupungin lounaisosissa on Valko-Venäjän rautateiden rautatieasema Tšausy (eli ven. Голочево, Golotševo) ja hallintopiirissä useita Mahiljousta itään Krytšauhun vievän radan seisakkeita tai asemia.[2][5] Maantieyhteyksistä merkittävin on kaupungin eteläosien läpi kulkeva kantatie P122, joka saapuu Mahiljousta valtatieltä (E 95) ja jatkaa Tšerykaun kautta Kastsjukovitšyyn.[2][4] Jokiyhteyksiä veneilyyn ja kalastukseen tuo Dneprin sivuhaaran Sožin Pronja-sivuhaara haaraumineen.[4]
