O stalinismo ou estalinismo son termos utilizados habitualmente para denominar a política imposta por Iosif Stalin, o segundo presidente da URSS e sucesor de Lenin. O uso do termo comezou cos rivais e contrarios á súa política de centralización do poder totalitario en mans do goberno e concentrado na súa persoa. O stalinismo defendeu a idea do "socialismo nun só país", contrario á idea trotskista. Stalin emprendeu o reforzamento do sistema policíaco para silenciar calquera oposición. Tamén se produciron grandes purgas de oficiais e políticos críticos. Durante a guerra fría, os países situados na órbita da URSS adoptaron réximes stalinistas.
